Farrah Fawcett will always be one of the faces behind Charlie’s Angels. She succumbed to anal cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2006. She died today, June 25, 2009 in the ICU of Saint John’s Health Center in California. She was 62. Her long time partner, Ryan O’Neal was with her until her last breath.

It was early last month when Fawcett’s cancer became more aggressive that got her to practically stay in bed the whole time since. Her son by Ryan O’Neal, Redmond O’Neal is currently under probation, after his arrest for driving under the influence in April 2009. He was also arrested for the possession of illegal drugs. But he did manage to see his mother before she breathed her last.

It was just unfortunate that she did not live to see the day that she ties the knot with O’Neal, even as Ryan said that Farrah finally agreed to marry her as soon as she gets better physically. Apparently, that will never happen anymore. So long, Farrah Fawcett, you will always be remembered.
