Oprah Winfrey has been officially dethroned off her title of being the world’s most powerful celebrity by no less than Angelina Jolie herself. Angelina earned a total of $27 million in the last year, a bulk of which came from her movies Kung Fu Panda Wanted and the soon to be released Salt.
Oprah Winfrey is now second to Angelina Jolie on the list. Jolie also gave birth to her twins by Brad Pitt and all her numerous philanthropic programs added to her already wealthy list. Her partner Brad Pitt made it to No. 9 in the list.
Top 3 on the world’s most powerful celebrity is Madonna with earnings at $110 million, Top 4 Beyonce Knowles with $87 and celebrity pro golfer Tiger Woods who earned $110 million in the past year. Move over Oprah Winfrey as Angelina Jolie claims the crown of being the world’s most powerful celebrity.
