Krista Ranillo is said to have been receiving death threats over her alleged affair with the people’s champ, Manny Pacquiao. This is said to also be the reason she and the rest of her family cannot yet come back to the Philippines.  Matt Ranillo issued this statement: “Our family is deeply saddened by the continuing negative publicity being hurled upon us as a result of the alleged inappropriate relationship of Ms. Krista Ranillo with Mr. Manny Pacquiao, We thought that our silence will stop all these lies being peddled in the Philippine media by some unscrupulous people.”

Krista will have to explain further although the Ranillo’s legal counsel and lawyer, Tonisito Umali said, “There is absolutely no inappropriate relationship that existed, that is existing between Mr. Manny Pacquiao and Ms. Krista Ranillo.”  What in the world did Krista mean when she said just a few days back that “we’re still discussing when and how to speak..” If there was no affair at all, then what was there to speak about at all?

People are speculating, even thinking that the “death threats” are just one of their alibis. Could it be that this statement from the family and the lawyer could be what they all agreed upon while Krista might be trying to get things fixed while she’s still abroad?  At the other end of the camp, Jinky Pacquiao is said to be hopeful about fixing things in her family. While this is good, why the sudden reversal of statments, Krista? For all we know, we might never know what has transpired between Manny Pacquiao, Jinky and this alleged other woman, Krista Ranillo.
